On November 1o, we hosted a webinar on the new UTP directive and how it can affect the food landscape and the trading environment. We discussed what this new law could mean for your business and how suppliers within the food trade can use their pricing as means to improve their business results during the implementation.
We had the pleasure of welcoming guest speaker Mårten Nicolin, lawyer at Mannheimer Swartling, who talked us through Unfair Trading Practices and what this legislation means for food trade. Per Högberg, Founder and Senior Partner at PriceGain talked us through the opportunities with this new directive and how suppliers can seize the opportunity and develop a pricing strategy that improves business results. During our panel discussion, we were thrilled to have Rasmus Bäckström, Commercial Policy Expert at The Swedish Food Federation, who answered questions relating to why this legislation is so relevant for Swedish food and beverage manufacturers and how this new law might change the relationships within the food trade chain. Oskar Tidhult, Manager at PriceGain, was the moderator for this webinar.
We would like to thank all participants for your time and engagement and of course our terrific speakers and guest speakers for their involvement. If you missed this webinar, you can contact us at info@pricegain.com. to get access to the recorded version or to find out what we can do for your business!
